I just wanted to share with you all some very distressing news that I received on Wednesday night.

After many years of excellent functionality it appears that my Samsung flip phone has outlasted the network that it has been serviced by. My phone has survived countless drops onto concrete, four children and has comfortably fit into the prevailing increasingly tight clothing trends with a small well rounded ease. In today’s age of rapid replacement and staggering manufacturing profits I regarded my phone as a quiet protest to the surrounding madness.

A short while after receiving the text message below I was offered $29 to purchase a replacement phone. I need your help in making this decision. Do I take the $29 and move on to a newer phone or take advantage of the opportunity to turn my back on the intrusion of 24/7 connectivity?

This little project has been in the pipeline for what seems like an age. I have finally got the first episode off the ground.
