What is the Dirt Effect?

The food we eat largely has its origin in the dirt. Directly, in the case of plants or indirectly through animals who eat the plants. The health of a person is related to the quality of the food they eat. The goodness of this food is dependant on the health of the soil.

When a person starts to get their hands dirty by working the soil,  they are contributing to this health cycle. Added to that they engage not only in the wonder of life, but the joy of home grown food and the peace that the mind enjoys whilst the body is active.

An extension of this philosophy is found in breaking free from the mass produced industrial norms of the prevailing corporations. Rather than listening to the megaphone yelling of big business we can make our own products and engage with our local community, building a richer cultural and relational landscape to enjoy.

This is 'THE DIRT EFFECT'.
